ROSEMMAWATI HUSSIN

Rosemmawati Hussin hails from Kota Bahru, Kelantan She finished her secondary schooling in her hometown before coming to Kuala Lumpur to enrol in University Malaya. She graduated with Second Class Honours from University Malaya in April 2001 and thereafter read in chambers at Md. Tajuddin & Co.

During her nine months of pupillage, she gained much experience in the field of Civil Litigation, Corporate and Conveyancing Practice. She has also assisted the partners in her previous firms in corporate drafting work.  Her corporate and conveyancing exposure includes preparing specialized tenancies for contract harvesters of oil palm estates, share sale agreements including preparing  Foreign Investment Committee applications. She also did opinion writing for institutional  clients on various issues particularly related to banking and debt recovery.

Rose moved back to her hometown for personal reasons where she joined the well known firm of Foo Say Ghee & Zamzuri.  There she continued to handle mainly civil litigation matters. However, as often is the case with a provincial practise, her portfolio there was very much a mixed bag and this allowed her to gain much wider exposure.

Now Rose handles mainly civil litigation matters including debt recovery and breach of contract claim. Rose also handles a fair bit of conveyancing matters including conveyancing arising from estate planning, estate devolution and retail sale & purchases.
